This Serbian Evil Crew is really finding the right way to the chaotic dark throne! When you check them out at the myspace, you will see that in the section: Sounds Like: they wrote Like Hell! And they really managed to represent their sound the right way! :) Svartgren is an intolerant black metal project from Belgrade, Serbia, Under name of Svartgren, by death and fire united, band works since 2005. Its really impossible for me to add Serbian Black Metal bands in this blog , and to ignore and not to add Svartgren as well! They are so fucking inspiring, so fucking fresh and young blooded (in the way they create their curses) I really hope to hear more from these Brotherz and one sister :) Its a neverending story they tell, and believe me there are some strange places this band can take you, if you just let them! I was positivelly suprised when i read their lyrics, they are perfect really! I mean (although i listen brutal death metal) its so refreshing for me to be a victim of such deep, rich, full of hatred lyrics!!! Too bad for the ones who dont know Serbian! What can I possibly say about this Serbian Brother of mine? (Kozeljnik) This guy is really talented musician, with a eternal inspiration, love and passion for the music he listens and he creates! I thought that it would be enough if i say that he plays In 2 Bands - May Result and The Stone, but then i would have to say that he helped other domestic bands in million different ways! So, that doesnt do the trick!I guess i have to start the review all over again.. :)
This is Kozeljnik's project (guitars in May Result & The Stone) and I must add that its really one of the rare curses i wanna experiance! Really, i just cannot stop admiring to this brother of mine, i guess His Inspiration comes from everywhere! Its so refreshing to see such a potential, and such a rich, undying, eternally creative source! You have to check out this guy, as soon as you finish reading this! The story (ideology and message) here is maybe same, but Hell, its differently told! So I do hope you will check out this brother, and You will give Him The Attenttion, Support, and Respect He Totally Deserves!

Shadows Of Paragon - in The Mist Of The Morbid Swedish Darkness...

After having played together for a year and a half and released a 5-song demo, in a band with the name Allsherjar, Karg (vocals), Joel (drums), Linus (guitar), Joakim (keyboard) and Jörundr (bass) decided to take on an extra guitar player, consequently, Zharlie joined the band during Fall 2002, however, the music progressed and changed so drastically that a change of name felt necessary, thus the name Shadows of Paragon was embraced.

Five songs were chosen and during Summer 2003 the recording of Shadows' first demo/EP began. The goal was to release the demo/EP at the metal festival Bobfest in March 2004, unfortunately, this process was prolonged due to delayed printing and mastering and the final product was not released until October 2004. During this time Joakim had left the band and since the keyboards played a central role in the lead-melodies, most of the existing songs were tossed. All thoughts about playing live had to be put on hold until new songs had been created. During Fall 2004 and Spring 2005 new songs were created and the band entered the stage again.

I really HAVE TO SAY that - first of all, when you listen this band i am pretty sure that you will like almost everything about it! But after you read the review below, and when you found out that Elgibbor is inspired by the Bible, i dont think that anyone would wanna hear that! I guess, that most of the visitors in this blog will totally search for another band, another Hellish Review, or even worst, they will sign out from this blog! Give it a try guyz! I know its fucking stupid, Hell, even I lost inspiration for this review..Elgibbor is a solo project done by a member of the former band Boanerges. He is known as Fire. About Wolvesguard: The malignant, proudly sicilian beast called Wolvesguard first started breathing in 2002, when Uthaar and Necrokultus arranged the first cursed songs. They recorded a three songs demo with the help of a cold and cynic drum machine. The record was an example of Southern Honour and Ancient Pride, but it was never released.. Two years passed, and in april 2006 the two founding members decided to bring the creature back to life with Nefasto on the drums.After various rehersals, Necromortum joined the mortal legion to sing the dark chants of doom.In february 2006, Necromortum left the band to follow some personal projects and after some months in november 2006 Alastor joined the legion to keep on the fight and to raise high our flag of hate! Brutal Slaughter - Black Death metal from Spain...

Brutal Slaughter was founded at the end of 2004, like a project, like a product from different bands. At the beginning of the 2005, the band starts to create his first themes with: ChaosPolikan - vocals, Ion Beast and Tyrant Soul guitars, Brutal Paw - bass and Pig Slaughter drims (bateria).

The bands Debut sees the “light of the day” in September 2005. This period is like “pre -eruption” period for them cause they Enter the Studio for the first time in 2007, after a months of hard work, and creating a new material! Brutal Slaughter is A Spanish Black Metal but with touch of Death Metal also.

BESOMAR - You can Dare to survive this attack!

Like i said in the previous post, its definetelly imposible for me to "separate" Posmrtna Liturgija, Samrt and Besomar! Cause to be honest they create a complete story! Anyway, Besomar are having the chance now! :) Although the members are almost same like in Samrt, still that doesn't mean that Besomar is copy of Samrt or the other way around! I really like the way Besomar tells you the story...For the ones who dont have strong character, prepare yourself for some changes in your life! :) Besomar sounds like Its giving orders to the fans and you have to obey and serve them! :) I really like the way they create the black metal...Its really great for me, cause i am simply amazed how these people found inspirations in everything, especially the proudness for being Serbian & the Slavic pride! SAMRT - Awaiting You From The Serbian Land...

SAMRT is a True Black Metal Band coming from Apatin, Serbia. To be honest, i dont think i could put Posmrtna Liturgija to my blog, and ignore Samrt (or Besomar :) These two sick guyz can really represent the black metal to you and represent it in the finest way, believe me! You should take my word for it, especially cause i dont listen black metal that much! :) Its like they pretty slowly drag you to their dark cage and untill you say "worship Satan" you are already fan of Samrt! :) Samrt are: Nekrst-guitars & vocals and Nemanja- drums & bass, but at the live shows Demonetras (from May Result & The Stone (the posts below) supports them! Posmrtna Liturgija is a really promising black metal band,coming from Serbia, thats why i choosed them to be a part from this modest blog. These Serbian Brotherz of mine really blew me off! When you listen this band, you just never know where it will take you next! These guyz are serving you some pure, fucking black metal the way that it should be served -Unholy, Cold, Sick, Raw and Fucking Chaotic! You will love them!

The black light of Posmrtna Liturgija was lit up on winter of 2000. and back then there was only two members. The founder Dragan Pagan is very proud of having the strong idea of creating satanic cult unique for Serbian underground scene.

Posmrtna Liturgija was seeking for their place in Serbian underground scene for about a year that was full with rehersals and upgrading musical as well as tehnical skills to perform the black magic. After a period of rehersals this two-member band automatically starts to perform in their home town, Ruma, and after a year new basist joined the conquering, for music became much more serious and could not be performed without bass guitar. After a short period "Od Zla Oca I Jos Gore Majke..." was recorded.

Pause took place for about six months, in work of creating true black metal magic, after which they continue with conquering on festivals in Serbia and couple former Yugoslav countries. Posmrtna Liturgija played with many metal bands such as: Avatar(ROM); Avenger(CZ); Casket Garden(HUN); Dark Storm(CZ); Debauchery(GER); The Stone(SER); Embriotomy(MAC); Enthrallment(BUL); Fleshless(CZ); Grenjar(NOR); Heretical Guilt(SER); Hypnos(CZ); Koldbrann(NOR); Korozy(BUL); May Result(SER); Negura Bunget(ROM); Orkrist(SK); Inferno(CZ); Sacramental Blood(SER);Vokodlok(ROM); and many others. In 2004. cause of variety of guitar parts and complexity of music in all, a second guitarist joined band and Posmrtna Liturgija shapes in it's final form and makes recognisibile style specific not only for Serbian, but for European black metal scene!

After a period Posmrtna Liturgija was, for a short time, one - man band, with only member worthy of the name PL, worthy to stand on a side of primal evil and in the name of true Father who gave him life, wisdom and salvation, to fight battles and move on to raise the flame much more higher! In This period came out great logo art done by Christophe Szpajdel lord of logos! At 2006., a drummer was L.G. from Serbian black metal bend Dead Shell Of Universe , but due to preoccupancy and lack of free time, he was replaced by Aksinomantijan, former drummer of Serbian Black Metal Horde The Stone, only man who is ready and technically can perform our way of satanic black metal In may 2007. Asmodeus from Serbian black metal band Zaklan joined Posmrtna Liturgija but due to his lack of understanding and his will to work with Posmrtna Liturgija Usud joined our conquering sect and soon will be ready to perform the songs of Posmrtna Liturgija in the real black light!

The band was formed in june 2005 by the name "Illuminati". Changes were briefly made and Dimo was replaced by Andrej and Puci took over the drummer's chair from Vrabec.From then on the band moved on without a vocalist.Then the band recorded a 4 track instrumental rehearsal demo.Soon after Jane was replaced by Viksa and Andrej left the band.From that point the band continued without a vocalist and with only one guitarist.At the beggining of 2006 Dame joined the band as a vocalist.The band's steady line-up was created and so came a new name:"Storm".In october 2006 the band recorded their first official demo:"In The Light Where It All Began".Since then the band had many gigs and currently is RECORDING THE FIRST FULL-LENGTH RELEASE...

BALTAK - Macedonian War Black Metal!

BALTAK arose from an Ancient Macedonian Kingdom, its history begining two thousand, three hundred and eleven years after the death of the King of Macedonia Alexander III the Great. Destined to lead the world to power, glory, majestic and imperial Alexandrian rule, Gorgoroth in his illimitable genius bought together a number of times a creation of such torchured battle agonies in the likes of Alexander the Bass Detonator & the Mechanic the Battery,(Former Sadistik Exekution). This brutal carnage lasted between 1995 till 1998. Their was 4 Live battle shows as well in Sydney. Little while later Alexander remained while the crazy Mechanic moved on and was replaced by Archelai who was latter featured on the Kral Na Dva Svetoj recorded in 1998 released in 2000. Then after that Alexander moved on & Archelai dissapeared and was never seen till this day. During the early period the follwoing assaults were unleashed: Macedonian Darkness & Evil-1994/95, Zagiantiot Grad-1998,Then also in the year of 1998 Gorgoroth set out to unknown lands, Lands he had never been to. Also to join forces with the Italian Black/Death horde Mortifier. With a new Extreme of Dark Evil power was formed BUIO OMEGA in the year of 1998. Then was unleashed: Thy Dark Conquest 1999. As time went by Gorgoroth kept working hard to produce other material, line up after lineup until the year of 2002 he set out again to others lands & finally found the right mercinaries to full fill his mission. It was Germany he found the undifying brutal man Lord Of Aeveron for the Battering drums of War & carnage. Together in the City of Pirna in Dresden/Germany was created the new work of art. Still having the heavy touches but in a new direction was recorded the Makedonski Boj (Macedonian War) the 4th Baltak album in the mighty studio of Polygam. Later in the year of 2006 will be the re-issue of the Macedonian Darkness And Evil debut dual sided CD/DVD which will feature 3 bonus tracks and also a DVD with old rare live footage from 1994 to 1996.

MARAS - The Thunders Of Perun Are Stocking You....

MARAS in general is a black metal band from Gevgelija - Macedonia. They are formed in 2003 and they are definetelly the first band of this kind in Macedonia. As you already know, i am not much into black metal, but this is a band i enjoy checking out live! Their energy is something undescribable. Thought for the others is a strange combination and representation of the black metal, i personally found it great, inovative, endlessly creative and interesting. Believe me you haven't checked band who's similar to Maras! They are really unique, especially cause they are dealing with Macedonian folk elements. Pretty weird combo, but definetelly a band you just have to see live!!!

SINIAC - Macedonian Melodic Black Metal

SINIAC are the creators of the Macedonian Black Metal Army! They are the First Band who inspired so many others, who opssesed so many others. I do believe there is no need to represent them for the Balkan Blackerz, But i have to for the rest of the world. Siniac is a Macedonian Black Metal Band, influenced by At The Gates, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Kind Diamond... I know its pretty weird for the rest of you guyz to figure it out how can a black metal band be influenced by a non-black metal bands, but you have to check out this Hellish combination! :) They have made some certain changes in their music, thought the ideology is same...Added some clear vocals to this Dark package, but still worths checking out! When we speak about the black metal Balkan League we cannot forgot May Result. This Band (also coming from Serbia) represents also a cult among the true followers and supporters not only of the black metal genre, but to the undergroundsupporters from any genre also. Their status is really something you can envy to, but definetelly not in a bad way. This Serbian Brotherz Of Mine Gained this status by staying alive, not selling themselves or betraying their fans. They still keep their one and only ideology, to keep Serbia (and rest of the world) pagan! These guyz really worked (and still work) hard, i am just simply amazed from their passion. Really its a blessing to found out their music, they are one of those bands that always serve you some new kind of story, and they are a guarentee how absolutelly everything can be a inspiration for your existence and survival in the pagan woods. I sure hope that after you read this, you will totally check this guyz and show them your support & respect! Believe me, they are WORTH IT! About May Result: 1995 The band was founded on 6th June by Kozeljnik, Ilija and Rastko. Their idea was to form an ultimate extreme metal band firmly rooted in the traditional Metal of Blackdeath. Besides those three souls, at that time band also featured Vladan on bass and Srdjan on vocals. On 16th of December band played their first gig in Smederevo. 1996 The year begun with some line-up changes. In fact, May Result decided to invite Predrag who took place on keyboards. Finally, on 4th of May, the band recorded their first demo "Ignoramus et Ignorabimus" introducing 4 songs of grim darkened death metal. That recording was supported with one more guitarist Nikola, who played on two tracks. In the autumn band has gone through some more line-up changes: Vladan left the band, and Rastko decided to move on bass, while the new member Dusan (in that period guitarist of Serbian Black Metal band Stone to Flesh), was introduced on second guitar. In October, that line-up started to work on songs for the first album. 1997 Demo "Ignoramus et Ignorabimus" was released on a limited tape version for Serbian Extreme Level Production (R.I.P.), and after some gigs during 1996 and in the beginning of 1997, band finished the songs for the full-length album. Recording once again took place at Kazablanka Studio, on 25th April and lasted for 7 days. The 10-tracks album at first was titled "Lightning, Sword of The Dark Sky". This time music was much more melodic compared to Demo, introducing symphonic elements and experimenting with some traditional oldschool Heavy touches, but still the darkened way remained as clear as it was in the beginning. Later on, band signed the first contract with the small Italian underground label Seven Arts Music. In the mean time, band did some live appearances, but the autumn brought new line-up changes. Vocalist Srdjan left the band and Nefas (vocalist of Stone to Flesh) joined instead of him. 1998 That year brought many problems to the band. There were new line-up changes, then the release of new album was put on hold (caused by financial problems of the Seven Arts Prod). Anyway new keyboardist Iva joined the band and also band started composing music for the new album. 1999 The year started with May Result's triumphal appearance on Liquid Souls Festival (7th Feb.). On the other side, the first album was still unreleased, and band cancelled the contract with Seven Arts (soon after that, label was disbanded because of lack of money). Nefas left the band and Glad became new vocalist. Band also signed a new contract for Austrian CCP Records, which finally made the releasing of first album possible. 2000 Band finished songs for second album, and on 26th June the first album, now titled "Gorgeous Symhonies of Evil" has been released, after 3 years since the recording. Band appeared on Feast of Blasphemic Art Festival. Despite the attempts of sabotage by some stupid christian skinhead group, May Result rose the bloody swords of revenge and cut down the christian pigheads once again! After that band has been invited to play at "Od Oluja Mrzitelja" festival in Zagreb, Croatia, and on 23rd October May Result performed live at Kulusic Klub. Until the end of the year one more gig was held in Belgrade. 2001 At the winter of this year Iva was kicked out of the band. After short time, band found new keyboardist Milan (well known for his work on Awaken 'zine & distro), and finally line-up, after 6 years, was completed by strong, dedicated individuals who are capable of contributing to war against Judeo-Christian stupidity in Slavic lands, and to keep the infernal torches of Devil's wisdom high and proud. On May, 18th, May Result appeared on Transilvanian festival in Deva, Romania, together with Romanian underground bands, such as Negura Bunget, Makrotumia and Vokodlok. May Result remains as the only foreign BM band that has performed live in Transilvania, up to date. After Romania, there was one more gig on Serbian festival Sombor Open Air, and short after that band entered the Kazablanka Studio gates to record second full-length album titled "TMINA", with seven freezingly cold songs of hateful Metal of Blackdeath, faster and more aggressive than ever before. Album shows the real grim potential of the band, and the path they will take in the future. "TMINA" was released on 3rd December for CCP Records. The first gig after the release was in Mosonmagyarovar, Hungary, with some local underground bands. 2002 In the first quarter, due to obligations of guitarist Kozeljnik and drummer Ilija to their side band The Stone (ex-Stone to Flesh) and the recording of their second full-length "Slovenska Krv", May Result had to make a short break. The band returned with live appearances in Apatin and Belgrade, to promote the "TMINA". Later on band had been invited in Volyne, Czech Republic, to play on cult underground "Open Hell" festival. Some of the acts involved were: Avenger, Averse Sefira, Dark Storm, In Aeternum, Root, Obtest... On 9th August, May Result played in ancient medieval stronghold of Smederevo. Once again May Result's blasphemic appearance and attitude on the stage, with fire breathing and cursing of filthy christian seed, frightened and shocked some of christian zigots, who tried to cowardly and pathetically provoke, but failed, as always. 2003 The band made a 6-months break (due to drummer's Army obligations), and in summer started to work on a new material. Meanwhile, May Result signed 2-releases contract with Serbian label Rock Express Records, and on Dec. 31st, mini-album "U slavu rogova nasih" was released. CD included 2 new songs, one re-recorded old song, a cover of Norwegian band Gehenna, live version of "Jata moja crna" plus re-release of old demo "Ignoramus et ignorabimus". In November, the band performed on Romanian part of "Storming The East" tour with Primordial, Negura Bunget and Psycho Symphony. Check out live video taken from that concert, supplied on this CD. 2004 In February the band promoted a new mini-albim "U slavu rogova nasih" on a Belgrade gig. During the year May Result concentrated on songs for new full-length, and in September/October entered Kazablanka studio to record this album called "Svetogrdje", you are about to witness. 2005 Winter brought some line-up changes. Our long time drummer Ilija left the band, and after a while new drummer Ved joined the band.

The Stone - Opening The Gates Of Hell in a Serbian Way!

What can I say about this Band? I know that there is no need to represent them at you cause they are already known to every single true underground maniac out there, but cause they are definetelly one of the creators and founders of the Pagan Balcan League they definetelly deserve a special place in this blog, thats why they are "opening act" in it! :) The Stone Really represents a cult among the black metal bands from the Balcan Region, and even wider...Its definetelly black metal the way i like, and black metal the way it should be...These Serbian Brotherz of mine always manage to suprise me positivelly, for the way they represent and serve their ideology to the fans. These guyz managed to stay true to themselves, and thats why they still are on the dark throne, they keep their solid status and respectfull place in the black metal scene.
